Andy Finn & Nick Sunchild
Imagine the culture shock that results from two generations of dance music culture when they collide- the new dirty sound up against the emotionally-charged old school trance beat. That’s what you get with the up and coming duo everyone is talking about- Andy Finn and Nick Sunchild.
Picture summer. The warm sun. The sizzling hot chicks. And an underground trance party on a lake. That was Nick’s typical dirty birthday party bash. In Nick’s left hand- a booking request. In his right hand- a box of decks. Meanwhile, Andy Finn is in a small boat on his way to the performing stage in the middle of the lake to start his set. Nick is distracted, engrossed in a conversation with two super-fine babes- okay, it wasn’t really a conversation as much as Nick hitting on them!- and he doesn’t even notice that Finn’s boat has docked at the stage. Suddenly, Finn gets out of the boat and the two girls charge after him, falling into the lake, while grabbing on to Nick and Finn for help! Suddenly, Nick and Finn and two gorgeous chicks are soaking wet and laughing hysterically in the lake together. They climb out of the water and crawl onto the stage, with big smiles on their faces, as they start to celebrate together.
An intense ping pong set and three drinks later Andy and Nick found themselves deep in discussion about trance music, producing techniques and how they were each drawn into this musical subculture and lifestyle. And then Finn discovered something totally unexpected. He learns that the trance party that was responsible for introducing him to the whole scene, that had originally turned him on to this music when he was only 12 years old, was Nick’s very first birthday bash! Coincidence? Or destiny?
This was the inevitable moment when this team of two generations of dance music culture was formed – to produce and learn from each other, and take the music to the next level for the next generation!
A stunning ping pong set and 3 drinks later those two found themselves discussion about trance music, producing techniques and the way which drawn them to this music style. Finn found out the trance party which bound him to the music at the age of 12 was Nicks first big birthday bang. ìWHAT IRONY!î
That was the landmark for this team to form up together to produce and learn from each other.
